Today, woke up at anytime that i want because THERE IS NO CROSS TRG FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yes..have been waiting for this day like for 3 years. Also, would be going for my last swimming trg later on in the afternoon..hurray. Now to just figure out what sports to join in JC so that i will not grow fat-ter. Anyway, watched Born into Brothels yesterday night. Really impactful and a little disturbing at some points. Great admiration for those kids who though born in the red light district of India managed to still find joy through the camera's eye. Fantastic documentary, definitely on my recommendation list!

First trg without mr quek was well, more tiring than usual. We had to do 3 sets of strengthening which i did not mind. BUT. Graces an i finally after a whopping 10 months, stepped onto the Northern route in Macritchie..it was super tiring man, 8km last year was chicken feet, now took so much effort to complete (or not..heheh). Anyway, it would be VERY interesting to see how trg will be like tmr..cause mr quek will be there trg RJ, RI and RV and Mg will be on the sidelines figuring out our trg with mr ng, i hope there is some drama..that will be fun. I think.

Monday
Outing with melin, lianne and ttm. Grace fong could not meet up in the end, so sad. Anyway, went to chinatown for lunch and bead/buttons shopping. Then headed to haji lane, which was super cool! Loved the shop called 3 cause it had a sliding glass door which is activated by a button. Melin and lianne (rich kids) bought stuff, then we all headed to thieve's market where ttm bought a $20 handphone (incl charger) for her bro. I was so intently eying a old vintage camera which was made in Germany and in working condition. But it was out of my budget, so sad. Lianne bought this video thingy for her cous and a pair of binoculars that weighs a ton.

My buys:
1) A button (seriously)
2) Owl figurine bead and coral coloured leather straps to match.

Bought ice cream cake at island creamery (met davelle on the way) for dad's birthday on tuesday which was fun cause we got to go to the Mountbatten Room at the club and what irked me was that there were no prices on the menu. And i dont like caviar, its fishy. Well, overall great dinner and nice toilet (k, whatever).

Friday
too much food..too little time. Bio breakfast, lit picnic then recess..whoa..like major food overload. Brought Sweet chilli and sour cream Nosh chips, loved melins' ben and jerry's and lianne's mac and cheese in particular. Luckily later was some tough trg so can burn off excess calories. 30x 100 fly, no shit..luckily he cut down to 20..i seriously need to train up for school nats on the 1st of july, didn't think it was that early, ah wells. Chemistry SPA was fine, slept for like 10 min, checked, went back to stone and cheryl's head. oh, and our cross coach is leaving us..byebye mr quek. Thanks for so much, i think.

Today
Woke up at 9 today cause there was no cross trg, went to the Club to finish up lit essay, have one more to go. Watched siblings at tennis trg, played the Wii boxing and baseball, super fun, had salad buffet. Then off to dragon boating where it was raining with thunder and lightning forcing our boat to take shelter under a bridge before heading back. Then melin and i took a walk to Kallang Leisure Park where we had subway. Melin's parents then gave me a ride to my grandparents' house which i am in now..had big dinner, very full.

Can't wait for monday's outing with ttm and grace fong and possibly melin and lianne. Thieve's market, haji lane, mustafa and chinatown..all the weird hidden treasures of singapore...we have similar interests, liking quirky, interesting stuff over seemingly glamourous branded things.

THAT GIRL IS SERIOUSLY CRRAZZZYY!

She topped like the whole class for almost all the subjects and got all A1 except for chinese i think. What is her secret? 1 and a half years seating next to moi..haha, no lar. Anyway, i did not fail english but i was so pissed with myself for not getting a A1 for it, pulled my L1R5 down by loads. Rush to complete DSA application to IB as soon as possible, called grandma to rmb to ask Grand Aunt to accept me into AC. Have so much Hw it is not even funny man, chinese, lit, physics, chem SPA....luckily/unluckily, chem is the only remedial lesson we have next week, our class is trying to persuade him to cancel it tmr since we did so well for chem, msg 2.oo, fanatastic 4G!!

Melin brought ben and jerry's for the class today, went for swimming trg finally, almost died. Cross trg tmr, hopefully i can still rmb to do drills, not like i do them anyway. Dragon boating this saturday, missed the time trials last sat because of my tuition (sacked her already), sry melin. Try to get into the boat for next year,k ? Going to watch some stuff online, may have an early night.

Today got a lift from melin to the ACS (IB) open house, picked up FYL on the way. We were there like super early, so we went around collecting notes and enquiring about the programme taking particular interest in the TOK and the EE section. Then we had to sit down and listen to this boring talk on why we should choose IB over the A levels, it was quite impressive seeing how the IB standard in AC is rather high. Melin and I discussed what our 6 subjects would be and found out that we would take the same subjects. After the talk, met lianne and ttm and yanka. Toured the programmes once more with them, lianne was in a dilemma but i tried to convince her that though both of us want to study medicine, the IB route can pose more benefits than the A levels. Then after that, went to the Daily Scoop with them where had double scoop (my diet is so not working) of icecream which was great. Lianne found out that her camera's flash worked. TTM's lychee martini was super yummy. happy for the free water, yes i am aunty. After seconds, took a lift back home and..yar.

I hope i get into IB and in the same class as Lianne, Melin, TTM and yanka. That would be so much fun. DSAing would be hard cause i have nothing to fill into the section for "Special Academic awards and acheivements". Melin and i decided to add in random stuff like our good essays to sway the ppl in IB. Oh, and the extended essays done by the seniors of the school were incredibly impressive. 15 books for english seems to be a daunting task but the course work is fun, so i heard from their teacher Mr Quek. Have decided to take the following subjects (i think melin and ttm and lianne would be oding likewise)

1) Higher English
2) Standard chinese B (cause acc to the lao shi, unless you get A2 at least for higher chinese you should take this)
3) Higher Econs/ standard Econs
4) Higher chem
5) Standard Bio/higher Bio
6) Standard Math

Not sure whether to take higher econs or higher bio, i think i sould take higher bio cause i want to do medicine. But econs would help me if i decide to do a minor in buisness next time. Maybemaybe. Sigh, why think about what to choose when i have not entered the school..and another interesting fact we discovered, the pullover really makes a difference in how you look in their school u. And converse balck sneakers are the standard school shoes there..strange.

Going to moan over my chinese hw now. And lit. Maybe tmr.

Today, we got back chinese..no surprises there. Then we got back chem which i screwed up. And i thought english was my saving grace but i got even more freaked out. Miss tan pointed out many mistakes of which ALL we made by me. Then she said there was one clear failure which i am sure is ME TOO. SHITSHITSHITSHIt. Melin and i were arguing on who was the failure, sigh i am quite sure i was me. My essay was so ambiguous till the very end when i mentioned for the first time the word "LABOUR", i think i totally screwed it up which sucked cause i thought my idea was somewhat different..okay lar, very diff cause who on earth would right about an election with PAP against LABOUR party for an essay that was entitled "LABOUR". At least now i know not to spew any excessive creative juices in the o levels, will try not too write differently.sigh.

On another note, we were informed that we had to go to St luke's today like today..so it was a last minute decision, but i decided to get it over and done with and go today instead of tmr. It was fun, i volenteered to do data work in the AIRCON but instead counted and sorted out coins, 280 1cent coins crazy..had amelia for company. When we were done, we went down to chit chat with the seniors..then we heard our big bus broke down ans in the end, we had to split into to gros to travel back to mg in two mini buses.

In the prefects' room..even though i am not a prefect..ahahha..having the head of discipline next to me...i lengthened my skirt specially for her...tomorrow is ss and lit..censorship please come out...or my preparation would have been in vain! Entertainment can come out too...for ss..globalisation so that i can regurgitate all my geog stuff...today's bio paper sucked big time man...got the first question of mcq wrong already..sad sad...seems like tmr's post exams celebrations have to be held back due to the vision cafe and student forum..TTM is on the panel..haha..at least there is another perspective than those politically-correct people...

Just now...i wanted to make the most of my purchase of i-scream, so i went out and asked the aunty whether i can get more for less cash..and she gave me sooo much..so happy...my aunty-ways have come to good use after all...and today's English paper was fine...
